Lina Maria Guayacan Carrillo is a research scientist in geotechnics at Navier Laboratory since October 2019. In 2016, she got a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at Université Paris-Est, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, with a Ph.D. fellowship awarded by the French national radioactive waste management agency (Andra). Her Ph.D. work was based on the analysis of long-term closure in drifts excavated in Callovo-Oxfordian claystone. Then, she continued her research activities as a postdoctoral fellow in Navier Laboratory on poromechanical modelling of tunnel excavation in low-permeable rocks. Later, in May 2017, she joined Andra's R&D department as experimental geomechanical engineer at the M/HM URL

Research interests: tunnel excavation, short- and long-term behaviour of underground structures, effect of multiphysic couplings on the behaviour of geomaterials
