Federico Castez born at La Plata, Argentina in 1975. He is a physicist and PhD graduate from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). He is a Professor at the Mathematics Department (UNLP). Since 2015, he has been working in different projects at Y-TEC, applying computer models to study the flow of hydrocarbons through nanopores in shale and also in the modeling of hydraulic fractures propagation. Most of his activity as a researcher was focused on computational/analytical models applied to diverse fields of technological interest. He has over 25 papers published, all them in prestigious peer-reviewed international journals
Research interests: hydraulic fracture modelling, molecular dynamics, nanofluids,
